The Thanksgiving Way
This site is private infrastructure for followers of the thanksgiving way. It is not owned by or affiliated with any one specific group, but any group may be allowed to start using these facilities for messaging, mail, or group meetings.
Group Meetings in the Lodge
The Lodge is a private Jitsi conferencing server. Project admins can create events and publish them on the calendar for people to find and join their meetings.
Members can request and be granted an email address in the @thanksgivingway.org domain.
News
A news server running the NNTP protocol (not integrated with wider Usenet) is available for creating groups for sharing information and having discussions. You can use clients like Thunderbird desktop to access the news server using the same username and password you login to this site with.
Messaging
This feature is a work in progress.
Instant messaging using the XMPP protocol will soon be available. Most of the identity integration with the site itself has been figured out, but it is down to deploying the services and testing them.
